Description
This Florence street food tour mixes the city's famous sights with a long run of Tuscan bites, all in about two and a half hours on foot. A local guide leads you through the historic centre, stopping at the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Piazza di Santa Croce, then on to the lively San Lorenzo district and its church, one of the oldest in Florence.
Between the monuments you eat your way along the route: warm focaccia, salami, cheese and truffle spread with a sip of local wine, crispy coccole, seasonal fruit from the market and a plate of pasta. Artisan gelato cools you down in the old streets, and the walk closes with cantucci dipped in Vin Santo.
