Description
With Palazzo Vecchio tickets you enter the building that has stood at the centre of Florentine life since 1299, when it was built to house the medieval city's leaders. Its most brilliant period began when the Medici family made it their residence, and you can still see the architecture, sculptures and paintings of that time.
You choose how to follow the story: an audio guide in five languages (Italian, English, Spanish, French, German), or a tablet-based video guide (7 inches) with HD images and 3D reconstructions. To collect the tablet, you hand over a valid ID at the ticket office. There is no live guide.

If you book the tower, visit it first and go on to the museum an hour later. The ticket works for the slot you picked. Access to some areas can be restricted during events, and the tower may close in the rain, though the battlements stay open. Children aged 0 to 6 cannot enter the tower, and those aged 7 to 17 must have an adult with them.
