Description
This Vivaldi Four Seasons concert in Florence sets baroque music and a Tuscan buffet in the same evening, inside the Franco Zeffirelli Museum. The Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina plays, with Marco Lorenzini as violin soloist, and your VIP ticket gives you a seat in the first three rows.
The programme runs from Pachelbel's Canon in D and Bach's Air to Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik, before Vivaldi's Four Seasons takes over. The concert itself lasts about 75 minutes, and the whole evening, with the buffet, about three hours. Depending on the date you choose, dinner comes either before or after the music.
The apericena is laid out in the museum's tea room and garden, on fine porcelain and with tasting glasses. Among the dishes listed:
- bruschetta, crostini topped with ricotta and fig mousse, tomato and bread soup and Tuscan schiacciata
- Pienza pecorino served with quince jam, Tuscan ham, finocchiona and salami

To drink there are Prosecco di Valdobbiadene, Tuscan reds and whites, Vinsanto, a strawberry, grape and rosemary cocktail, juices and water. Smart casual dress is recommended. Music and dinner share one evening, in one place.
