Wander its narrow, captivating streets, discovering hidden corners and stunning viewpoints from the historic castle. For the adventurous, a moderate hike between Manarola and Riomaggiore (Via Beccara, approximately 55 minutes) offers incredible vistas (please note: this is an independent activity requiring appropriate footwear, fitness, and experience; your guide will provide trail information and meeting points). Alternatively, relax and soak up the atmosphere of Riomaggiore, perhaps even taking a refreshing dip in its small, pebbled beach. A short train journey then transports you to Vernazza. Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the town's excellent restaurants, savoring the magnificent coastal scenery. Explore the Doria Castle for panoramic views, admire the Romanesque architecture of the 13th-century Church of S. Margherita, or unwind on Vernazza's tiny sandy beach. In the afternoon, we travel by van to Pisa's Piazza dei Miracoli. Marvel at the world-famous Leaning Tower and the other architectural wonders of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Finally, filled with memories of Italy's magic, we return to Florence, concluding our approximately 12-hour day tour.
